Objectives

1. Preserve and increase native tropical forest 1.1  Plant 1,000 ha. of trees within five years 

1.2  Implement one REDD project within two years

2. Increase animal habitat 2.1  Install 100 monkey bridges in 5 years 

2.2  Plant at least 14 ha. of wildlife corridors in 2010, and increase such area 10% per year after 2010

3. Increase public,  landowner and government linkages 3.1  Give four or more presentations per year to civic organizations 

3.2  Give four presentations per year to schools

3.3  Increase website hits to 1200 per month in 2010, rising 10% per year to 2013

3.4  Increase LRFF visits to 600 in 2010 and1000 in 2011

3.5  Establish linkages with federal and local governments in 2010

4. Obtain sustainable funding 4.1  Establish endowment of $500,000 within two years 

4.2  Obtain $30,000 of individual donations in one year

4.3  Win $125,000 grant in two years (by 2012)

4.4  Establish corporate sponsorship of value $50,000 in 1 year

4.5  Establish on-going administrative overhead at 10% as of 2010

5. Improve LRFF human resources and facilities 5.1  Engage an administrative assistant by end of 2010 

5.2  Assess and place volunteers in suitable roles in 2010

5.3  Plan Resource Center to support LRFF activities in 2010

6. Select & implement governance model for LRFF 6.1  Research governance models for non-profit foundations in 2010 

6.2  Reorganize governance of LRFF in 2010

6.3  Secure LRFF branding in 2010
